Day 27
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you

Didn't manage to get my reasons on to say why these were so meaningful so here is why!
ReplyDeleteNew life is exciting whether it is a kitten, a baby or fresh new bulbs bursting into life in the spring. There is something refreshing and beautiful - almost perfect.
So when we realise we can have new birth into a living hope this should give us great satisfaction. But that is not the end!Jesus is the living hope in whom we find new birth. Jesus rose from the dead, never died after he went to heaven and lives today. As part of His family we are co-heirs of an inheritance that will never get destroyed, will never loose value and does not fade like the colours we paint or the flowers that die off. There is nothing more we could hope for. Savour your relationship with Jesus and protect it from any outside assaults.
