There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. Philippians 1:6 (The Message)
He promises it until the coming of Jesus Christ. It proves that he will always be with us will help us with whatever we do because it is what he planned for us. Lukas
Cindy's chosen a great verse and in "The Message" it's SUCH a great translation... "There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind". To me, that sounds pretty certain that He'll be with us to the end, no matter what. Jez
This has been an important verse for me in the past when I have been anxious about 'finishing the race'. It has reminded me that it's not up to me. God started it, he will finish it. And God leaves no unfinished business! Roger
Great verse Cindy....in the NIV it says God will bring his work in me to 'completion' which always reminds me of moving house! How great to think that when God has finished his work on me -I get to move to my heavenly home! Helen
I love this verse that Cindy has posted - God finishes what he starts! And he has started something great in all of us.
